The Secret of Agenda

A genda acts differently from other termite control products. It works in two ways when applied to soil.

A genda Protects your Home

F irst, Agenda protects structures by killing termites that wander into the treated soil. Termites do not realize that the soil they are foraging into have been treated with Agenda and they continue to enter the treated soil. In doing so, they unknowingly pick up ultra-low doses of Agenda’s active ingredient, Fipronil. Termites will die before they can gain access to the structure.

Agenda Manages the Termite Colony

S econd, what the termites also don’t realize until it is too late, is that this ultra-low dose of Agenda is enough to threaten not only their own existence, but that of many of their termite nestmates back at the colony. Termites are able to pass on the active ingredient to other members of the colony before they die. This transfer of active ingredient is highly efficient with Agenda and results in a significant decline in the activity of the colony.

T ake the common case of a structure infested by termites from two separate colonies.

I
f you use the traditional barrier treatment, termites are merely repelled, and you can see that the colonies remain active. These termites will look for the gaps in treatment and simply tunnel through using these gaps.

W
hen you treat using Agenda, what happens now is that the termites continue their normal activities, even tunneling through the treated zones and picking up the Fipronil present in the soil.

2-3
months after treatment, however, all termite colonies have been managed!

B ut what is most important is that Agenda remains in the soil, giving structural protection for a further 3 years or more – the longest residual protection from any liquid termiticide.

The Unique Agenda Solution

A s termite control becomes more and more difficult, traditional barrier treatments using Repellent Termiticides become less and less effective.  Repellent barriers protect structures by preventing termite access, but has no effect on the entire termite colony.

B aiting systems offer colony management, but does not give structural protection – they do not prevent termite access.

A genda is unique because it offers both structural protection and colony management. It gives the longest structural protection among all liquid termite control products. Agenda may work a little slower on individual termites, but the overall effect on the colony is fast – in fact it works up to 6x faster than the baiting system.
